1. WHO WE ARE

2. DATA WE COLLECT

  • Account Data: Name, email, password (hashed).
  • Career Data: Resumes, CVs, performance reviews (PII including employment history, address, phone).
  • Usage Data: Logs of how you interact with the AI.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA (AI & PROCESSING)

  • Service Provision: We process your Career Data using Google Vertex AI (Gemini) to generate documents.
  • Enterprise Privacy: We have configured our environment so that your data is NOT used to train Google’s public AI models.
  • Automated Decisions: We use automated processing to analyze text, but we do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you (Article 22 UK GDPR).

4. DATA SHARING

We share data with trusted sub-processors:

  • Google Cloud (USA/EU): Hosting and AI processing.
  • Stripe (USA): Payment processing.
  • Firebase (USA): Authentication.

International Transfers: Transfers to the USA are protected via the UK-US Data Bridge extension to the Data Privacy Framework.

5. DATA RETENTION

  • We retain your data while your subscription is active.
  • If you delete your account, data is removed from our active databases immediately and from backups within 30 days.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, erase, or restrict the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@careercalibre.com.
